“The Wishing Wall” (March 2018)

Project: “The Wishing Wall” was a concept developed through a series of studio artwork created in my Artist Residency at the Hotel Andaz, Napa Valley. After creating a body of work for Urban Element’s project on Capitol Ave, I was asked to research their new tenant, Sacramento Covered, to pitch a design concept for a mural on the southern wall of Historic Alley. The goal was to create a safer environment and discourage vandalism on an alley backing the railroad tracks that was enigmatic of the city’s opioid crisis.
