Lady Bird (March 2018)

Location: 16th& I St, Sacramento

Commissioner: Visit Sacramento/ Wide Open Walls/ Councilman Steve Hansen

Project: Visit Sacramento, Wide Open Walls, and Councilman Steve Hansen asked me to create a visual show of support for “Lady Bird” before the Academy Awards. This piece was completed in the 48 hours leading up to the Oscars. Using “writer’s” materials, I designed the moquette by sketching my version of the movie poster on several sheets of solid color paper and cutting them for the final reference from which to paint.
